The Grunau Baby was one of the most widely built training gliders of the 1930s and 40s, used across Europe to introduce a generation of pilots to soaring flight. Sweden operated the type under the designation Se 102, and many Swedish military pilots took their first unpowered steps in one.
Fly's kit is a neat little thing — with emphasis on little. Despite its modest size it includes photo-etched parts for the instrument panel and harness, which is a pleasant surprise. My only glider build so far, and as a modelling experience I'd describe it as exactly what it looks like: a nice little trifle.
